Found! A new breed of cat...
by Sylvano Lucchetti
First and foremost, this picture is just so piss-funny.
Yes, I now know that it has been doing the rounds on the 'net, ending up in people's email in-boxes here and there. But the thought that someone actually posted this sign on a pole somewhere, just cuts me in half!
Too right, "Not very friendly!"
A picture like this just sets off your imagination circuits. I mean, we surely have to be dealing with a couple of British backpackers who've only been in Australia for a few days. They've walked into the laundry late one evening, they are confronted by this very distressed 'cat' and they are determined to do the right thing by it and its owner.
How many days did they continue trying to care for this cat before some kindly neighbour had the heart to tell them truth? Or, indeed, was it some old school aussie larrikin neighbour who'd told them that is truly one feral cat they've found - snicker, snicker...
Or the countless calls they received from 'distressed owners.'
But the one scene I most imagine is one of these hapless travellers holding down the little brute while the other attempts to spoon feed it cat food, lest it starves.
